I have a set of Big O Tires back when warranted forever as long as minimum tread depth…

About 42 years old now and still have nubs on the tires… VW Thing

Always a big fan of lifetime warranties and for a time just about everyone was offering… from batteries to mufflers…

With me owning some cars more than 50 years it’s the gift that keeps giving.

I bought a new deer feeder and a pallet of corn.
Now that is illegal in VT. And many other states as well.

Strangely, it is NOT illegal to plant a "deer plot" of food with the intention of attracting deer for hunting...

But you can feed the squirrels and birds, with the same warning any deer daring to eat the squirrels feed can be shoot.

Technically, we are required if baiting, to bait continuously for 6 months. All that excludes the CWD zone, where baiting is banned as is baiting on public lands.

Even our gas stations generally get a pallet or two of deer corn in, for sale in late august-december. I buy regular whole corn, cracked corn, or even scratch feed depending on the prices. Deer dont care if the bag is orange with a buck silhouette, or a white F-R-M bag.

On nice thing with scratch feed or 3-way scratch, the wheat and millet will spout and also provide food.

When we were up in Minnesota and Wisconsin a couple weeks ago there were pallets of bags of deer apples at most gas stations.

Today wife and I where both off work, and we went to Academy to pick up a deer feeder. Went with the 250# capacity, programmable, app linked, Moultrie with solar panel. Then stopped at Texas Roadhouse for lunch.

We where going to look at compact, narrow, stand up freezers, and a microwave; but kinda ran out of time.

This also leads into a rant; Walmart online orders... Last week, I search and find in-stock a cheap, narrow, tall stand up freezer, $198. Perfect, will fit where we want it; price is right, free next day delivery; Buy Now. Next day, get alert its delayed; ok. Next day, get notice order was canceled. Annoyed, but ok... Few days later, I see a nice, metal hopper, Deer feeder, $199, shipped for free, Next day, and in stock again; Buy Now. Next day, get an alert Walmart had canceled your order. In both cases "your card will be credited within 10 business days"...

I bought my truck tires online at Walmart. But I chose to pick them up. That was my first experience with Walmart online. I would do that again for large items.

I just bought a "'Koul Tools" EZ-ON Hose Press. My arthritis makes it hard to grip fittings and press them on hoses by hand. It was on the expensive side but it's a tool to save me a lot to pain. I tried it out today. It's magic and worked great.
