Hooked up the finishing mower last night, which it turns out works. I can definitely go it at a faster pace than the riding mower, but I'm unsure about the quality just yet. Grass is freshly cut.
I paid a guy to come in and cut the "front," which is about 1/2 the place, due to schedule keeping me from doing it this week. He had an exMark, I think, and it took him about an hour, maybe an hour and fifteen, to cut that 4 ish acres. Anyhow, I went down and tried to cut some of the pasture with the finishing mower to see how it would do, but all the clumps o' grass from the last bush hogging seemed to give it fits, so I won't be able to tell until the grass grows up a bit more on the front half. I'll keep you posted....
