I keep my MMM deck and FEL in place year round...We don't get deep enough snow winter wise to worry about the MMM dragging, and have been glad very many times I had the FEL on while bush hogging/other chores...My .02

The other thing that can happen (twice to me so far) is that that loader bucket sticks out there a LOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG ways. It can have a tendency to gouge a hole in out building.

If you do mow with the FEL on, be sure to tilt the loader and raise it enough so you can see the outboard corners.
