Well, should have planted last weekend as we've had 3 days of rain and more on the way...hoping to plant tomorrow and that the rains continue through Sunday as forecast

turnips/rape in one area and chicory and clover (clover was free sample, so why not) in another area.

Just how much rain fell at home or the farm, food plots? To see detailed rainfall amounts...

1. type in your place...such as Bamberg, SC.
2. click states, county, road/town overlay
3. click last 2 days...or whatever...
4. then hit "Go".
5. compare the color to the precip scale.
6. You can also adjust the pcpn opacity scale. This is good if you want to use the satellite or hybrid maps.

You can zoom in, zoom out, pan, scroll, etc.

RFC Precipitation Analysis

Pretty neat huh?

Good stuff right there! Thanks... I planted labor day weekend (Monday) and LEE missed us about 60 miles... Had to wait 2 weeks longer for rain, but finally got some. Been about 8 days since last rain so I cant wait to get out there this weekend and see whats growing... Bow season opens for us Saturday 24th:thumbsup:

Andy...Deer season started Aug 15th over here. I have seen a few small ones but not big enough to shoot, (15" or better for us where I hunt). The rut will start mid Oct and that's when it gets fun. I've seen you over at the QDM site, also...me, too.
I will be off a good bit of Oct.

Being able to see how much rainfall fell can save a trip or two and whether to replant or not, or even if the plots will be mushy. You guys got all the rain on that tropical system, not us!

Well, we ended up planting on Saturday. I think the area had another good storm that night/next day, but everything should be good. Here is the larger of the two plots.
