I have a 2210D. I was wondering what a normal operating temp should be? My tractor generally runs around 150-155 and has never went over 160. This seems quite cool compared to what others have posted their temp ranges at. I am wondering if I have a bad temp gauge. It is a Sunpro gauge and I just installed it about 3 months ago. I made sure that the probe was completly submersed in water when I installed it, so I know that is not the problem. My coolant/water ratio is about 35%/65%. Does anyone else have this low of an operating temp?

I think you have a water pump on your model where others don't. My temps went down when I installed a water pump.

Yes, there is a water pump.

My YM2000B runs about like that. It has a factory gauge with no #'s on it, but it only gets to the 1/4 mark, (which I estimate is about 160), after bushhogging enough to clog the radiator screen. I would run a 50/50 mix, especially in Ohio.

I recently put a set of gauges on my 2210D. It runs about 150 under heavy load. Under light load, it runs about 130-140.
