Tractor
mahindra max 28 tlb
hello everyone !!!!

New to the forum. I did a lot of research on this site before I bought my Mahindra Max 28 TLB package. Tractor has been bitter sweet. I done a couple jobs since I took delivery in March. However I had a loader valve leak and a bad bucket cylinder. Both were fixed under warranty. I used it for a few minutes the other day. Now I have antifreeze leaking from weep hole on water pump. I will be on the phone to dealer tomorrow. This tractor sat around for a while it was last years left over. I think this a result of that, I hope.
Looking forward to being a member on the the forum thanks

That's irritating but lean on your warranty and chances are you'll get all the bugs out before it costs you money. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to TBN--join the fun:thumbsup:

I have a leaking water pump (shaft seal) on my 1951 Minneapolis Moline BF tractor that I'm restoring. Rebuilt that pump about 3 years ago. It sat on the shelf since then while I slowly moved ahead on the restoration. Installed the pump last week. Adjusted the belt tension. Bumped the starter a few times to check for belt wobble. Got fairly large leakage from the weep hole. I figure that the part of the pump casting on which the seal is located probably has some corrosion that's causing the leak. Found a rebuilt replacement on the Web for about $80. Should be here next week.

Good luck with your Mahindra.
