But I am with Bird, a shot in coffee kinda kills both for me.

In my college days, before going home in the morning, we would stop for a tripe soup and a beer - the pick me up drink.

Tripe soup...I would have to be pretty bombed to even sample something like that !!!

I like Irish Cream in coffee, but not just whiskey. Some times, I'll brew a double shot of espresso, and mix with a double shot of Irish cream...

Friends have been making a rootbeer float; Vanilla flavored rum with rootbeer. Tastes pretty good.

Irish coffee? I tried that once many years ago; ruined both the booze and the coffee.

Some friends got back from a Caribbean vacation this past week and gave me a bottle of Rum Jumbie Vanilla Splash. I'd never heard of it, but it's quite tasty just on the rocks, but makes an especially fine Pina Colada.
