Why, coz of his accent? Whatever your reason, you're missing out. The science is there to back up what he's saying, which is why a lot of athletes are now on some form of intermittent fasting diet. Americans especially, with our obesity levels, we're definitely doing something wrong.

Personally, I've been eating only breakfast and dinner (both large meals) for a long time now without knowing about any of this. But now I'm taking a closer look at the circadian thing...been hearing about it here and there and it makes sense to me.

BIG breakfast every morning just after getting up. Then a light supper in the evening.

Don't understand how anyone can function having to do hard physical labor without having a good breakfast beforehand.
I don't either. I absolutely pig out in the morning.

I can skip breakfast without a problem. If I skip an evening meal I will be useless all of the next day. I do tend to eat my lunch at around 10:30 though, and that doesn’t matter what time, how much or how little I eat breakfast.

Calories are calories no matter when you eat them. My weight has stayed within 5 lbs for the last 20 years.

I consume about 4000 calories per day. I spread it out in many small portions throughout the day.

I wake to 24oz of water with apple cider vinegar and two cups of coffee.

Four hours later I eat breakfast, same thing every day: Eggs, bagel, about a fifth of a stick of butter smeared on it, Greek yogurt and OJ.

Meal two is usually a big meal of some type of meat and heavy on carbs and fat.

Meal three (on work days) is a pb+j and fruit.

Meal four is about 2oz of hard cheddar, and an apple, and a piece of pizza if I'm hungry.

I've been eating this way for years and turned 50 recently, with my bodyweight slowly dropping over the last 15 years from a powerlifter shaped 230 (probably consuming 6000 or so calories a day back then) or so down to 192-195 nowadays (I'm guessing probably 3500 or so calories now). I'm very active and know I couldn't, and wouldn't eat this way if my activity level declined.

Eat 3 meals a day and often have a nuts and granola bar snack mid afternoon.

If you eats lots of and mostly protein/meat, you won't need as many meals.

Breakfast=Muesli, banana, OJ and espresso short black, lunch, sometimes but if we go out for lunch I skip dinner and just have a light snack, during the day I have 3 600ml bottles of water.
When I am working O/night breakfast is two small oat and almond muesli bars and a 500ml OJ.
NOt working today and just had a late breakfast, will not have lunch but will fire up the BBQ tonight and make some hamburgers, just ground brisket and chuck seasoned with salt and pepper served with a heap of salad.
