Warranty transfer

I have been looking at a 5740 locally and also a 4540 out of Florida. Both have existing warranties. However, would the warranty on the Florida tractor be honoured by the Texas dealers?
Maka maybe you can shed some light on this for us. I know usually the distributor/manufacture discounts the pricing to cover warranties at the local level but what happens in a case like this?

New Holland warranty is honored everywhere. I assume Montana is the same.

Now, will they get to your warranty work first or last?

Hi Stampeder. Montana dealers honor warranty on Montana tractors or they should. Now, my customers get free pick up, fix and return on any warranty need. Even if 75mi away. We do lots for our customers and if one of my customers has a warranty or service need they come first, no matter what.

So, I do warranty on any Montana as all dealers should, but my customers will always come first. Not trying to be offputting but that dealer relation may be worth considering.

i have a 4340 with about 125 hrs. on it now. my first warranty experience on this tractor was nothing less than outstanding. i made a call in the afternoon, it was picked up the next morning and was back in 2 days. this was for a rear engine seal. no extra charge for pick-up and delivery, and even a follow-up call a couple of days later to check if everything was okay! that is service like i have never experienced before. this all from the boys from lacombe,alberta. i hope they don't mind me using they're name.
