Warning light guards.

Here are mine. Made from a piece of flat plate with appropriate holes drilled and some U-bolts bought at a local hardware store. guard5.JPGGuard1.JPGguard2.JPGguard3.JPG

Mine had to protect the base of the light and not just the light. I tore the entire assemble off twice before making the guard. Cost me less then $80.

The bolts holding the guard on replaced the pins that held the roll bar up. Hmmmm…..looking at my pictures I wonder if I should have used Grade 8 bolts.

Oh well.

I like the simplicity of those. Does it prevent you from folding your rops down though?

I would have to remove the bolts to fold it. BUT from the time I purchased the tractor I have never had a reason to do so. I like the looks of some of the other guards shown on this thread but in my situation I would tear the light AND the guard off. So far so good with these. These pictures are a few years old. The guards now have lost a bit of paint but have server their purpose well.

I couldn't fold my ROPS without taking the guards and a couple other things off as I also have a fire extinguisher mounted. Also made a holder for the ball and hitch that fit into the receiver on top of the bucket. It would have to be removed also.
