Warning for all

   / Warning for all #71
I do not feel I have the right to shoot whatever I like - simply because I own a gun. However - I will with my dying breath defend my property, my home and my family with whatever means it takes. A drone hovering over my property constitutes a breach of my personal security and will not be tolerated. I will do my best to eliminative this security breach.

It would behoove everyone to carefully study their state's (or country's) laws on the use of force. I have a clear idea on when shooting someone in Slovakia would be justifiable and when it wouldn't.

We fortunately have the "castle doctrine" in the law here, so its clear easy if someone breaks in to the house. If someone is outside the house, then confronting them while brandishing a firearm is legal, but I can't just outright shoot them unless they would be threatening my life.

Sorry to hear what has happened, but there was a time where our elected officials actually cared about the Constitution and protecting the lives and property of American citizens. I'm amazed at how two political parties could be so must different and still be supported by the American people.

No - Fred - not a gun. Its a combination of factors. If it were a gun - I fear the coyotes could not clean up the "mess" fast enough. I have a very specific spot on my property where I take everything that dies - for whatever reason. Over the years I have found it does no good to bury anything - dog, skunk, coon, badger, etc - the coyotes will find the burial spot and dig whatever up.

So..... I simply transport the carcass to this spot, leave it lying there on the ground and the coyotes complete the process.

Thank God there are no gators where you live, you would have a moat or pit stocked with them!

OH - jeez Doofy - don't say that. I DO have a moat. Its where the little lake drains into the big lake. Water filled about 9 months out of the year. That's exactly what we have always called that area - "the moat". Its a low area - about 800 feet long.

Why would anyone think the Government cares about your property when they are the biggest Criminals ripping you off daily?

I once ate lunch with a lady potential (security) customer of mine. In the distance someones sirens were going off. I asked her, if she wasn't going to do anything about it. She had been broken into quite a number of times, yet did not feel compelled to do anything.

I can tell you, however, that a high quality, old school, wired security system with a lot of sirens, inside and out, IS a way of protecting your property. Your door may be broken but that has been the extent of any loss with any of my installations. Usually a good set of skid marks as the perps left!

BTW. I spent a lot of time correcting the deficiencies of that ladies system. I think they got broken into once more, with just broken glass in a sun room, but beyond that, they have been burglary free and my customer for decades now.

Forget the junk wireless stuff with a $2.00 noise maker and forget the cameras!

Doofy - unless my eyes deceive me - - painted turtles, green frogs and a few wet garter snakes. Better be no gators or snappin' turtles.
