Wallace Implement Closeout

The Farm and Fleet's in our area are closing out their stock of Wallace Implements. They are a lower end implement. Prices I saw were 40-60% off of their normal prices which are already below retail.

No there aren't any TSC's in our area. This is Farm and Fleet. It's like a TSC in our area.

They closed all the F & F last summer up here.
Some reopened as TSC.

Are you talking about Quality Farm and Fleet? There was a big discussion here about a year ago. I thought the company went out of business? All of the ones around here have been replaced with a TSC.

No you guys are talking about a totally different set of stores. This is Blain's Farm & Fleet. They are only in midwest. They are a very strong company and have never even had one store close.

cowboydoc, if it is a Blain's store then it is called "Fleet Farm" not "Farm And Fleet". At least that has been my experience.

You boys are hard-headed /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif. It's not Fleet Farm it's Farm&Fleet. It's been that way for the last 10 years I've been here, never changed names. I've written them a good many checks and get their name on my credit card statement every month.

Cowboydoc... I searched the WEB and there were several references to Blain's Farm & Fleet. Look at the URL included with my post above. Looks like the U of I helps recruit employees for Blain's Farm & Fleet.

I saw another WEB site that had a picture of the storefront.

Hi all,
Blain's Farm & Fleet is a midwestern area store that is thriving. They just built a huge one in Oswego, IL and have stores in Ottawa and Kankakee. I believe HQ is in WI someplace, as they have a bunch up there. Mills Fleet Farm also has many outlets in WI. I believe they may have been one family company at one time,at least thats what my uncle told me. BTW nice stores. Have wide selection of tractor implements and parts, car service centers, clothing, toys, hunting equip. I love them. Marty

IllMarty, I have been in the Blain's in Ottawa Illinois. I installed some equipment into a Taco Bell across the street a few years back. I sure with we had a store like Blain's around here.
