Re-read the fine print of your warranty. Generally tires are warranted for XX,000 miles OR Y years whichever comes first. See Tire Tech Information - Treadlife/Mileage Warranties for a long explication

A couple of years ago I went to Wal Mart to get tires for a trailer I own... the fellow asked what the tires were going on and I said, "A trailer"... he then refused to sell me four tires.... "A liability issue" he said... I couldn't believe it..

In spite of the recent run in I had with WallMart bad as i hate to say so I will have to agree with the wall mart guy that refused to sell you car tires for a trailer.
Car tires are not rated to handle trailer loads.
