I have an old WH C175 with MANY hours of trouble free service. I have owned this machine since 1982 and engine has had no repairs, just serviced regularly. I have rebuilt countless small engines but have never rebuilt a twin Kohler.
I have been planning to rebuild this engine because of smoke on startup but no smoking or other problems when operating.
I would have to add approximately 5 oz. of oil after cutting two acres of grass.
Strange thing is, now there is no smoke on startup and after two cuttings, oil level is on the full mark??
Any ideas why?
