Homestead tractors in Apple valley CA. sold vietnamese tractors for a while.
Maybe someone should call Ron or Paul and get their opinion on these machines.
From what I saw they sold quite a few of them.
I think they could provide an expert opinion on the subject at hand.

I agree, call Ron or Paul from Homestead Tractor out of Apple Valley in CA, and ask them who they bought tractors from and what kinds problems they have?
CFOX: First of all, let me tell you this, I'm not mad or upset at you or any one, on the other hand, I should say thanks because you guys advertise and recognize my company to people. CFOX, ERNIE or AIRNIE, I don't call people by "name" unless they BAD MOUTH about me and my business. Let me ask you these questions; Do you know how many Vietnamese who does reconditioned tractors? How do you know that I don't support and stand behind my products? Who do you think you are and why are you expecting me to prove my products to you? How many tractors have you sold? prove it? And one more things, show me your DOCUMENTS from UNCLE SAM. If you can show and prove all these to me, I'll prove anything you want.

I want to know because I am buying a tractor. I want to know what are good, bad, and in between. I am trying to learn. I don't want to be in a squabble between competing factions of dealers. I have thought about buying a tractor at auction, but read that many of these may look good, but may mechanically needy. If there are good products at lesser prices then they will do well and I might want to buy one, if people won't give inforamtion, though, its a bad sign in my book.

What DOCUMENTS??? I got a California drivers license, and ...lets see... a NAUI scuba certification card...various credit cards...Oh!!!, almost forgot, a Subway sandwich club card with 3 stickers...I agree with tractorlet, Same old valueless non-factual dribble.

I too am trying to divine what documents from uncle sam leon is talking about.
And as for proving your product.. if Leon is indeed in the business of selling.. he NEEDS to prove his tractors are good... word of mouth advertising gets around. Instead of being defensive.. he needs to elaborate on why it would be good to buy his tractors, and not someone else's.
Odd fellow to figure out. Starting to smell fishy to me.
We've asked him at least 3 times in this thread for data.. and all we get is defensive...

Leon, I can see where we are having a problem. You are mistakenly replying to my original post when you should be responding to ones that you have a problem with. The fact is, that I am on your side, and was, I thought, being obviously facetious when speaking of "horror stories" about Vietnamese reconditioned tractors. (By the way, NONE have shown up on this forum). As I stated before, I don't see any place where you have claimed to have "factory rebuilt" tractors. That is apparently a claim made only by some retailers that you may have sold to.
