Vietnamese rebuild owners

I would guess Leon is on the defensive because it has been implied (over numerous threads) that he is everything from communist operative to a fly by night junk dealer. He is in a loose-loose situation. Nothing he will say on this board will sway anybody that far from where they currently stand. People feel free to say things on message boards that they don’t have sack enough to say to there faces. If anybody wants info from Leon, nut up and call him. Talk to him man to man like you would any human. Ask the hard questions if you want and decide if Leon should have to bear the weight of every problem that has ever occurred with rebuilt Grey tractors. I called Leon, seems like a nice guy, an American just like you and me. If you won’t call him then you’re just bitching.

Hi Soundguy-
This is not necessarily for you but just a place to post as this thing is becoming an octopus.

Leon didn't come to TBN to post and boast on the several related threads. I don't recall any posting of him trying to sell nor do I believe he ever would, now. He was dragged in here because as Buck says it has been implied that he is everything from a commie to a junk dealer.

There are posters saying, or inferring, they don't understand the document statement. Leon says, "How many tractors have you sold? prove it? And one more things, show me your DOCUMENTS from UNCLE SAM. If you can show and prove all these to me, I'll prove anything you want."

He has challenged people who question his business as to whether they understand the tractor import business. Tell him how many tractors questioners have sold. If they have, prove it; and part of that proof needs to be import papers including UNCLE SAM, that's United States (looks like a possible generational gap here) and U.S. Customs fits as part of the paper.

Looks like he has turned the table. Some claim he won't answer them. Will they answer him?

Most when they first posted did not identify themselves but after a while as they reached member status or higher they joined in. There are some, however, who are bronze and even platinum who provide no, or very little identifier, and are doing as Buck has suggested, "People feel free to say things on message boards that they don’t have sack enough to say to there (sic) faces." and hide behind anonymity.

That's it for me on this thread (I think).

To Leon: Who are the rebuilders in vietnam? Who are the good rebuilders, and who are the bad? What kind of costs are involved (if you are a supplier to other dealers) is the warranty you provide for other dealers or to customers (i.e. are you a wholesaler, retailer or both?).

Thank you very much EFC and Tractorlet. You guys solved the problems.

UNCLE SAM is U.S. I kindda shock that you're AMERICAN but you don't know who UNCLE SAM is.

CFOX: Did you see the motion pictures on my main website? That's the picture of facility where the tractors get reconditioned, and I guaranteed that they have the best reconditioned tractors. And who are the others? I can't tell you this. If you still don't trust me, come down to Texas and I'll show you, however you don't like me but I still treat you like my customers. If you want more detail, buy yourself a ticket to Vietnam, and I take you to the facility. PEACE!

<font color=black> I have no problem going face to face to talk tractors.. did it this morning while looking at some jinmas.

I even have a 'sopposedly' rebuilt 1700... havn't regreted it.

<font color=blue>how many tractors questioners have sold. If they have, prove it; and part of that proof needs to be import papers including UNCLE SAM, that's United States (looks like a possible generational gap here) and U.S. Customs fits as part of the paper.

<font color=black> Since we don't charge by the word on these posts.. it would have been helpfull if he speeled out a few of the references he was making... Since the vast majority of us are tractor users.. not importers... ravings about 'documents from u/s' don't mean that much to us, and we ( I ) therfore asked for clarification.

<font color=blue>Leon didn't come to TBN to post and boast on the several related threads. I don't recall any posting of him trying to sell nor do I believe he ever would, now. He was dragged in here because as Buck says it has been implied that he is everything from a commie to a junk dealer.

<font color=black>I havn't seen those posts in question ( communist / junk ) so can't comment about them. My premises are strictly from what I have seen here.... mostly which is what I see as Leon ( imho ) dodging direct questions.

We have a fast talker yanmar dealer here in town now... he could sell a bicycle to a quadraplegic... those people make me a bit nervous.. especially when they avoid answering questions, etc ( not related to leon.. just an observation in general ).

I personally wouldn't mind leon talking up his product here... Heck.. I expect a dealer should make it known.. that's how we users find the dealers.

I never would have found Len Schaffer if he hadn't ponied up that he had the parts I needed, when i posted a question about them, etc.

If Leon is indeed a bona-fied dealer with good material, he has nothing to worry here... I for one, anyway, am not already predjuiced.

Besides.. we need more members anyway... strength in numbers.

Non-factual dribble!? Jim! Tell me it ain't so! I was kind of enjoying it... Though I will admit that it would be nice to have some more facts rather than just so many opinions. But you go with what you have. BTW, that Uncle Sam/U.S. documentation rant went right over my head. Shucks, we all know that Uncle Sam is the U.S.; every generation knows that. The part that confused me was the "documents". What documents?? Maybe if I was a tractor importer the paperwork part would make sense.

And I learned something new. Mind-boggling though it seems, there must really be people out there who are able to buy, service, and use their tractors without using the internet! Hard to believe, though......
