JD 990
I plan on getting a JD 65” tiller (665) when I get my JD 990 tractor this Spring Since the tiller is not as wide as the outside tractor tires, how can you till without leaving tire tracks?

I see that Kuhn offers tillers that are offset to the right (11”-17”) thus allowing to till tractor tracks on one side. How to Kuhn tillers compare to JD? Is there an adapter that can be used on the JD tillers to create the offset?

Thanks for your help in answering all my questions.

Steve, my father has a JD tiller that has offset capablity. He has it offset about 10 inches. I can't remember the model number but its about 60 inches wide(I think). I think he purchased it in 2001.

Steve I have used a 60" on my 4710 the last 2 years. The tiller is not as wide as the tractor, but it takes out the wheel tracks. Or at least it covers the tire tracks. I just overlap the swaths so all of the area gets tilled.
