These figure sound a little high to me. I know I get get some for a lot less. But I do understand your point.

If you can buy the stuff cheaper please let me know where? I am in the business and this is the best I can do on 10k axle stuff. Yes, 3.5K stuff is less but we are talking a big trailers here.

I put $3000 in brakes parts alone on a 25K trailer before with 12K axles

Another thing to consider is DOT, that trailer would put you into needing DOT inspection and under the all the requirements by DOT in Texas. Unless running farm tags. Just going by looks, that trailer has seen some use and @ 4K I would scrutinize it carefully. I have bought several 40'ers, some new and some used. I got 1 used one that bit me in the ***, ended having a bent axle and would tear the tires up in 10k miles. 10 k axles are not cheap
