Used 660 at auction

Auction value on used ms660 with 24 inch bar.

Back in '09 I paid $500 for a quality rebuilt saw -no bar- w/ a DP muffler.

But in '12 I paid $450 for an 088 w/bar and carrying cases plus an Alaskan Mark III (worth ~$200 by itself).


So timing is everything.

Sounds like you have a good deal on the 088. Todays sale has a bunch of bigger pieces of equipment. The saw is listed as number 50 in the sale. I am going to run down to Dayton, Ohio and see what it brings. I am in the right area looking to spend 500.00. It will be a muggy 90 degree day so I probably will not stay for the whole show. I sold woods ported and stock for 600 with several chains and new bars in 32" and 24"

At the sale today the 660 brought 600 dollars same man bought a 200t for 275.00. Do not know what the bucket truck sold for.

There is/was a guy on Arborist site recently selling a 660 w/bar for $500.
