I'm not surprised that a full fledged machine shop with all their overhead would charge $60 but you may be able to find a machinist working at home to do a simple job for a fraction of that. Either way, the job should include pressing in the bushing so you know they got the interference right. I'd probably do it for a six pack of Guinness, but then other people's projects always seem more interesting than my own.

If he isn't in a rush, possibly he can mail it to you with a check for you to purchase the Guinness locally. Heck, the shipping wouldn't be very expensive for a small piece.

now where is the fun in that? Your supposed to bring the beer and consume it while the work is done.
