Up in flames???

I accidentally put plain gas instead of mix in my stihl trimmer. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif Ran fine for about 15 minutes then stopped. It didn't lock up but it was hard to pull. I drained the gas took the plug out and poured in a little oil. Pulled the cord a few times installed the plug then fired it up. It seems to run fine but I'm wondering if I should be walking (or running) to the nearest dealer to trade it in? What do you think.

If the trimmer still pulls easy when cold or hot also doesn't shake when useing I would hang onto it.

A relative was "doing me a favor" and used my Mantis tiller (2 stroke ECHO engine) and filled it with raw gas. She used it for 20 minutes before it siezed. The service dept said to remove plug, spray WD40 in (basically what you did), re-gas it with a gas 50:1 mix and restart. That was 4 years ago and it's been going strong ever since.
