Sometimes while at work I will pop in to the sight and visit the forums as a unregistered guest.

I can read all the posts in whatever thread, view all the photos in the photo gallery, but cannot view any attachements.

The message says I do not have permission to access to the page. The line below the log in box says "the administrator may have required you to register before you can view this page."

I may not wish to log in at that moment or from that pc. Almost all of the other forum features are available to the unregistered user. In the old format, this was never an issue. Is this a feature that will change?

I've been checking TBN at work (help with vacation) and it does not recognize my log in info. So I just don't look at attachments until I get home. Before the new setup I could log on at work.

I have dial up connection at home, pictures load slow. The connetion at work is much faster. By the time I get home, I can't remember what I wanted to look at.

Just log in - problem solved.

Just log in - problem solved.

The problem here is that many computers that you may use when in hotel lobbys when traveling track the sites you visit and the passwords you use to log in. I will not log into TBN when on the road unless I want to post a message or respond to a post. Guess I just don't trust the general public that much.

They may track the websites you visit, but I highly doubt they are capturing passwords.

Access to a members TBN password -- WOW -- What Power! :D

I don't know about power but I have gone back to the same computer at a hotel and have it fill in my password for me at log in after entering my username. I stopped logging in after that.
I don't think this computer at my home is all that powerful but it will do the same thing. With Firefox there is an internet options tool that will let me look at all my passwords.

Only if you enable the option to 'remember' such things. Even so, what are the odds that some schmuck uses that PC to visit TBN (that's a stretch right there), and proceeds to enter a username beginning with 'V' which displays in a selection box and all the usernames ever entered onto that PC for all sorts of websites, decides to not use his username, but instead selects YOURS?

Someone is too paranoid, IMO.
