I guess it depends on the particular service.
Are some better then others if a guy were to say, be looking to build a pole barn?
That would make one sturdy structure, especially if you sheeted it with road signs.

Reminds me of an old Andy Capp cartoon, for those old enough to remember that one. Two cops were singing "and a poor man came in sight, gathering winter fuel", next frame Andy is dragging a cut down utility pole behind him.
