13 hours on a new tractor? That's like buying a new car that has 585 miles on it (13 hrs x 45 miles/per/hour = 585 miles). No big deal? Bull! Ask for a credit at $20 per hour, $260 and see what they say? I bet you won't get it out of them.

Me, I'm going to have to keep buying good used tractors. I couldn't _stand_ a tractor with a seat switch!!!! Sheez, these things have gone way too far. Plastic & electronics. Has it's place, but not on a tractor that should last 25 years.....

Well, I have to stand up occasionally and restore the circulation to my butt and legs. So a seat switch is out of the question. If my dealer ever gives me grief about jumping the switch, I'll ask them if they'd rather pay for my leg amputation from a blood clot. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
All seriousness aside, some day I think I'll make an override switch instead of using a jumper. Some times I feel better knowing the tractor will kill if I leave the seat unexpectedly.

For the record, the seat switches on the TN don't kill the engine or disengage the PTO or anything. This just interupt certain control sequences and cause the warning beeper to go off.
I put jumpers on all the front deck Kubota tractors I used to mow with. They were a pain.

On the standard TN's all the switch does is signal that stupid beeper. I have ran my TN while standing on the side of the platform (don't lecture me about safety, I needed to stretch my legs without slowing down field work). Of course the standard TN doesn't have a lot of electronics that control things. I could see it possibly forcing the electronic shuttle into neutral if equiped but with a manual it doesn't do squat.
