Uh, Oh! 4x10 Flash Codes!!

Just ran in to check the owners manual, Got a short long long short error. What's that? (No it's not in the owner's manual) It did say it was safe to drive. It said most reset with a "reboot", guess I'll try that!

I looked all over the machine when I bought it. There are NO "Powered by Windows XP" stickers anywhere on it...

Don't do this until you've talked to your dealer...but I reckon to "reboot" your tractor, you'll have to disconnect the battery. Probably leave it disconnected for a minute or so...

Let us know what yr dealer says to do, please.

Thanks, actually it is just a restart. and I found where Jason from K.C.Canary addressed this:

Short, long, long, short or .--. is indeed the fault code for the mfwd sensor . If you have cruise control it will not function. The flywheel speed sensor is also the same part # as the mfwd sensor. So in my opinion the flywheel speed sensor could possibly fail, Their is an internal wiring problem inside certain speed sensors. Deere has corrected the problem with a fix as fail . This doesnt mean that everybody with e-hydros has to worry, not everybody will experience this. contact your dealer. The kit consist of both the mfwd and flywheel sensors and take about 5 minutes to install.

I'll retry it and if a reboot doesn't do it, then call the dealer. I didn't mention it, but the Cruise control wasn't working, either.
