Well, I finally got around to finishing my 400hrs. service today. I had a 2.5 gal. container of Super UDT in the shed, so I pulled out the manual and the tractor and proceeded to get to work. The only thing I had left to do was change the fluid in the front axle. I thumbed through the manual and found the section that I needed. After a quick look I see that it says the front axle holds <font color="red">"5.5L (5.8 U.S. gals.)"</font> At first I think, wow, I don't have enough fluid. Then I realize there's no way it can hold that much. It's just a typo and should actually say 5.5L (5.8 U.S. qts.) It was a relief to know that I didn't have to order anymore Super UDT. The conversion is actually correct on a different page where it shows capacities which is what I went by when I ordered the fluid in the first place.
Here's a pic of how I filled the axle. How do the pro's do it? Do they use a pump or a funnel and hose like I did?
