Hello,
I have a 2018 TYM T454 (45 hours) that is great when it starts. Unfortunately it is sitting in a field.
1. It turns over but does not start. It was in the shop for repair for weeks. The driver who picked up the tractor was tapping on fuel injector area while I tried starting it. Fortunately, it did start and off it went to the shop where I hoped for a diagnoses and repair. The tractor continued to start while in the shop and no problems were identified. Now that the tractor is back, I’ve used it once but the second time I tried it would not start. Same thing, turns over but does not engage. Any suggestions as to what maybe happening?
2. Getting service for the tractor is difficult. The dealer where it was purchased is no longer available to service it. The dealer where I hoped it would be repaired is very difficult to communicate with, rarely returns calls, vague answers to questions at times. It is at a bit of a distance so stopping by to check on progress in person is difficult. They indicated several times that they would check in with TYM for possible known issues since they could not find anything wrong, but I wonder if they really did. I tried sending a direct inquiry to TYM via their website but not able to get the form to submit. Any suggestions for getting on touch with TYM directly for information they may have?
Wish I had the skills to diagnose this myself. Any suggestions regarding the tractor or getting information will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
