More than 40 over the years. Ten at any one time. Mostly Ford and New Holland
I got this turntable from a sandblast outfit today. Should make a good portable fixture table for welding and yet to be determined tasks.

The table is 1/4” steel 30” diameter with 1/4” holes for securing fixtures. Sealed bearings on the table axle as well as the four rollers. It weighs 90 pounds and has a 750 pound rated capacity. I also have 3 sections of track for it.

The turntable itself is only five inches high and will sit flat on a welding table or any flat surface as well as on the tracks.

I will most likely make a dedicated stand for it with provision to clip on track extensions. This would allow me to use the turntable at any height with the aid of a forklift or my high lift pallet jack. Or it could be placed on the welding table with or without track. Lots of possibilities!

Does it have a provision to attach your ground lead to the base of the rotating table? Or do you have to attach it to the piece itself?

Awesome turntable!
BTW, What kind of table surface is it sitting on? Looks like it might be polished stone, maybe granite?

No provision, Aaron. It was designed to be a turntable for sandblasting and as such doesn’t have the rotating ground source a proper welding rotator would have.

3 inch steel top, 3Ts.

Very cool... a luxury welding or blasting accessory for sure! I like it. Curious as to the benefits of the linear track though?

Mark it was most likely for loading heavy items with a forklift onto the table and then sliding it deeper into the cabinet to blast.

Ah yes... loading into a cabinet. Of course.

Here’s the bench I built to use the turntable for small weld/fabrication projects.

The rectangular work surface can be offset or removed to allow more linear travel for the turntable.

What's next a robot to grab and manipulate your work?

I chopped the end off some sliding arm clamps and welded on 1/2 inch bolts to match the holes on my table.

Terry, since you cut off the part of those Stronghand clamps where the V jaws go, you might wanna get a set or two of these (if you do much with pipe/tube)

MagHold & MagRest V-Pad Kits - Strong Hand Tools

Altho they left out the CENTER magnet on the base; don't remember if it's easy to MOVE one of the magnets to the center so it'd work better on the swivel/screw end... Steve

Good idea, Steve. I think I have a couple. I’ll try it tomorrow.

BuckitCase’s idea to use the V pad works well

Terry, my intention was using the SEPARATE, magnets included, version of the V pads; but I like your implementation BETTER - I have a couple of the "built-in magnets" version, but since I have 2 DOZEN of the "4 in 1" clamps (12 of the 8", 12 of the 12" and a couple of the "one hand") and they all come with the "step over" and V pads, (not positive the "one hand" clamps have those extras) I'm not envisioning a shortage of the "regular", non-magnet pads

I also had bought a bunch of the little round neodymium magnets, and your implementation puts the magnet right in the center where it SHOULD be.

'Nuther possibly useful hint - if you have more than a couple of those "4 in 1" clamps, there may be times (I've had a couple) where you need a TALLER "step-over" clamp - neat thing is, ALL those extra pieces are 3/8" thread. Just take 2 or 3 of the screw-in spacers and STACK 'em. (screwed together, of course :D )... Steve

More good suggestions. Thanks Steve.

My “better” implementation of built in magnet version was a matter of “run what ya brung” and not the result of any serious thinking.

And btw I purchased new Bessey clamps on sale locally

but I decided to surgically alter my older used Stronghands. (Which are 1/4 inch longer in comparable sizes and of equal quality. Uncertain of metal hardness though if that is even a concern in clamps this small. )
