turfs on ym2000

Does any know what would be the widest turf tire to fit rear
on my ym2000. Current size is 9.5 x 24 rice tires (that is with out chging rims)

Firestone makes a 9.5X24 turf tire for Yanmars. That will probably be the widest without changing rims.

That ebay picture sure doesnt look like the firestone 9.5 x 24 turf's that I have. Unless they have stating making a new one. Looks like a generic picture. The firestone tires are ok but I sure wish they were wider. If moneys not a big object, I would get different rims made and go with a real turf tire. Oh and by the way, you can order those firestones at your local firestone store for less than the ebay price. Plus you save the shipping. Good luck.

I bought tires and rims then had wheel adapters made at a machine shop. Still got to paint them when the weather cools off!!!!

I bought tires and rims (big) off ebay cheap and had adapters made. Since these photos the tractor has been finished and put in a lot of hours pulling gang mowers. They work great, "float" well and cost little.

Keep in mind a lot of turfs have different rims that are made for a wider turf. The Ags I put on my L are 11.2x24. The turfs I replaced are 13.6-16(I think, the other options is 355/80-D20).

The turfs are wider and sit flatter on the ground.

I actually got lucky and found a complete set on ebay seventy miles from home. They came off a Yanmar, so it was a complete bolt-on. It certainly makes a big difference driving on grass..... no more big ruts everywhere.
