I found this stamp on side of body of tractor. Looks like it is 2000-07316. What model tractor do I have?

New guy with a New YM2000

We have a YM 2000D bought about 6 years ago from a guy who bought it from a refurb guy in NC (Corrigan Bros??) He included a Yanmar manual covering several models including the YM240 which is supposed to be very similar to our gray market tractor. How accurate are they? I have attached a...

My Eng. Id. 2TR20A-A and on my
Trans # YM2000A 15089
Have a ym2000 Manual and a 240/195 and neither has a reason for it. Or anyone for that matter

Yanmar - Model Cover Pages

YM2000A The A-model is a refresh upgrade. Did the YM240 go red at this time. YM240 never went to red paint so far as I know. The Donaldson-type air filter external on the left was one year, 1981, final year of YM240, and that's the only upgrade to series 2 (headlights in hood) that I know of.

Even the A-A manual is there.

Their is a reason behind it all. There is a YM2000, a YM2000A, a YM2000A-A and just to mess you up there is a YM2000B !

We often get people asking about the schematics and electrical, but have no idea what generation their YM1700 or YM2000 actual is.

You had asked why I didn't include the "D", and I replied.

Yanmar Factory modification. From A 20yr. UTDA Yanmar dealer. Not going to be listed which I knew that. Could just be a Customer modification. Actual Mod.?
