Let me start by saying sorry for posting in tractor forum for a truck byt had no where else to turn and thought someone in here might help. I have a truck I built that has a hook lift hoist on that has 2 rams one runs the hoist and one runs the hook. I put on a clutch pump on the motor, and put together an electric directional valve block. I started with closed center spool valves which when i hit the switches the rams would work but when I let off the belt would slip because the pump was backed up and couldnt release the prssure. So i switched to open spool valves which it you run one ram at a time won't do anything because the pressure and flow is escaping through the other valve. If I run both at once they work but that isn;t going to work. How do I setup valves in a open system that has constant pressure but can run one valve at a time that I wont loose pressure or flow?
Any help is much appreciate or to be pointed in the right direction.
Thanks
Dylan
