troubleshoot injector pump

Good morning!
I'm having trouble with a Ford 3430. While mowing the engine died rather quickly. After checking the fuel line I found that the fuel tank was clogged (looked like a rotten mouse, but probably just goo).
I cleaned the fuel filters and replaced the element. I then bled the system, starting at the fuel filters and into the injector pump.
I've run quite a bit of fuel out of the bleed screw on the injector pump.

My problem is I can't seem to get fuel out of the injector pump. There isn't fuel exiting the pump (other than when I bleed the thing).


Any ideas from you folks?

Have you tried to bleed the injectors themselves. You might be air bound between the injector pump and the injectors.

Yes, I've tried to bleed the line between the pump and the injectors. I can't get any fuel out that side of the pump.
I'm still scratching my head.....
