This is a follow up to my Grease for Excavator thread. I switched to Lucas Construction and Mining grease with 5% moly (available in my area). It seems that a few fittings do not want to take much of it, other fittings overflow out the pin bushings like the old grease I was using before. Is moly grease harder to get into pins and bushings with tight tolerances? Not an old machine, just now coming up on 50 hrs. Just wondering. Next will be greasing the swing bearing teeth, and then the swing ball bearing at 250 hours. Anyone have similar issues with moly grease?
