Tropical Storm Andrea

We already got 3.4 inches of rain this week and weather report says we may get up to 4 more inches tomorrow from Andrea. Won't be cutting any hay for awhile. Oh we'll, better than being in a drought.

i know what your saying. my neighbor just barley got his corn planted yesterday before the rain came. [ about a month late] we couldn't put hay equiptment on till that was done so who knows when we get the hay up. but i do agree it's better than a drout.

We usually always do first cutting here this weekend into next week and that's the same week as Laconia Bike Week. One year it rained so much it was so bad the fil couldn't get in the fields at all and at bike week there was a new saying that year...Laconia I rowed mine!

I've lost track of the number of inches of rain we have gotten since Sunday. We had nearly 3 on Sunday and several more since. It is making gardening hard and hay making impossible.

We've already had 3.2" since the 1st that's more than we got in the entire month of May.
