I understand well what the purpose of the high mounted rear seat. I have several firearms outfitted with a bipod and saw that the roof would make a great place to use a bipod equipped rifle. However, I ran across an article that I thought was hilarious. It called high mounted rear seats, like on this RTV, the "mother-in-law seat". Now, that is when high speed runs through the woods makes sense! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I suppose it depends on the age as to the definition of "tricked out". I have several antique muscle cars, and my definition of tricking one of those out is to hide all wiring under the hood through existing frame rails, transplant a 502ci big block with 625hp under the hood, fit a Gear Vendors modified TH400 behind it along with a balanced polished aluminum drive shaft to a factory looking four link rear suspension holding a modified 9" Ford rear end, and make the firewall and undercarriage just as slick as the show quality topside paint job.
Some people think slamming one of those muscle cars to the ground and putting 1" profile tires on them as "tricking them out". I call that destroying a nice car. Again, I suppose it depends on your age... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
