Buying Advice Tractor Shopping

How far are you willing to travel, there is a MF 2855M, new, $37,917 in Athens Alabama, Power shuttle, open station, 4wd, loader. I dont know if this specific tractor comes with rear remotes, or how many, but it might be worth a call to Haney Equipment

In that class, I would look hard at the 2M55/2M60 and compare them to the 2E55 and 2E60 in the Massey line. I know the Es have a bit less luxury, but see if its things you want/need. Towards the top of your specific (and towards top of budget) the 4707. If you have the need/budget, the 4707 has good hydralic flow of 17.2 gpm at the remotes.

If its just raw power, and not modern/luxaries; its hard to beat the HP/$ of the Mf2600 series.
Appreciate the response. My budget is 40k. Those tractors are out of my budget.
I’m not sure how much negotiating can be had with tractors. I’ve never purchased a new one.

Just looking at the specs, the DF 4065E does look good, Cat-2 3 point; but what i looked at quickly, its got the hydralic flow of a much smaller class machine, 8.4 gpm to impliment. That might matter or might not, depending on what you will be running on it
I wood just be using a square baler and rake. Maybe a post driver down the road. For the front. I’d eventually get a grapple.

I’ll travel to save money for sure. Within reason of course. I enjoy road trips! Thanks for the tip!

I like the Deutz being that there’s no emissions

They have to meet emissions one way more another ... There are a few ways they can do that, but no way they are still using 20+ year old technology ...

Even my little 2021 Massey Ferguson GC 1725 MB has a different fuel pump and injectors set to optimize the ULSD and meet the limited tier 4 standards ...

What dealer support do you have in your local area?
It’s not great. There’s a JD and Kubota dealer close to my house. But I’m not interested in either. At my property. There’s a nothing within 1.5 hours.
For me, dealer support isn’t that big of a deal. Whatever I decide on, there won’t be a dealer close. So it’s a non issue for me.

Let me specify, no def, no regens.

If you have a New Holland dealer around you the Workmaster 50-60-70 series may be an option. The New Holland Workmaster 60 has no DPF, so no regens. As it is below 75 HP so no DEF is required. It is in your price range, at least in Texas.
