Tractor Shopping, DK 65?

Yes, there is a little toolbox behind the seat in front of the rear window. And the rear operated lift control was one of the things that first attracted my attention to the tractor.

I have read the operators manual, and I find it difficult to believe that the R4 rear tires should have 32psi and the front 40psi. What works best in yours? Also, can you explain why the diff lock pedals are labeled (front&rear) and (front). When would you want to lock only the front diff? I would have expected (rear only) and (front & rear).

Oh yeah, that's right! I keep forgetting about that foot-operated tilt wheel. Another neat feature. But the front diff is very handy as well. Like you, I don't get front only, but I guess it will have its uses. John

The front only diff lock may come in handy in a realy smeery mud where the back diff being locked in would want to push you straight ahead, making it difficult to steer.
Being able to unlock the back and still keep the front locked would give you better traction but still be better able to steer.
