Hey Audrey. See you already have your profile updated. I think you made a great decision on the H. Belt hp goes back to when tractors all had belt pulleys but no PTO. AFter PTOs came out, belt driven equipment was gradually phased out. Now everyone has a PTO and no belt pulley. The H comes from the era when both were common and rating standards were still based on belt hp. For all practical purposes belt hp = pto hp. Drawbar hp has always been a measure of work done pulling a load from the drawbar and is less than pto/belt hp due to additional friction and tire slippage losses.
