I have a Kabota MX 5400 and have a need for a caddy that I’m believing will fit between the two roll Bar post. Anyone have a recommendation on a caddy that has worked well for them. I plan on carrying just typical things a chainsaw a Gerry jug wrenches chains stuff like that. Any recommendations are appreciated.

You can make your own from a metal toolbox and parts from Menards.

Large one,

smaller one,

If it fits on my Yanmar, it should fit on your Japan made Kubota too!

You can make one for the 3-point lift too out of an IBC tote cage on the cheap.
Either free or under $30 off Craigs List in my area for a 250-gallon tote.

Then cut it to the height you want or cut out one side, or whatever . . .

Even a plastic 55-gallon barrel for $15 off Craigs List can be a nice carry all.
Use round PVC tubes mounted inside to hold things in place.

If you want a fancy 3-point cart on wheels with a carry-all,

This can be bought for several hundred dollars or build it for about $400 with all the parts from Harbor Freight.

I looked for something like has been shown here. Then I realized that a whole lot of what I do requires the hauling of large items - large rocks, large chunks of pine tree trunk. As well as small tools also. I decided to build a farm wagon. Bed is 8' x 12' and will carry 20K pounds. It's got a Horst 20K frame - 1 1/4 T&G plywood deck. AND - I'm finally pretty good at backing it up.

That/this is what I use. Bought it on Amzn. You'll need to improvise the hookup to the rollbar since it's not perpendicular. The tractor "self clearanced" it for the 3pt top link - when raised. I didn't mind. Plastic would've just busted up...View attachment 5498609
Ouch. Good to know

I didn’t see this one yet.

Tool caddies or totes have always been an issue for me on several of my Kubota tractors. In most cases, there isn't enough space between the ROPS bars for something big enough. It gets more complicated with a backhoe attached.

For a versatile carry all that's large enough and easily swappable between tractors, I made one from a large plastic deck box. I lined it with plywood for strength and bolted it to a pallet on casters. I use a 3pt to SSQA adapter so I can carry it on the 3 pt hitch or the FEL using forks as needed.

It's easily carried front or rear on either of the tractors. It's waterproof and the flat lid works as a handy work surface. I can carry it to the area where I'm working, drop it off and go fetch another implement as required. The casters make it a snap to hook up or move around on smooth surfaces. The box, pallet & casters cost less than $200.

When I added my toolbox between the ROPS, I placed the top-link in the highest mounting hole and the biggest implement. Raised it to the max height, then marked off with a little clearance of safety. Sure it's a little high, but not damaged.

Not everyone's setup can accommodate a 1-fit-all solution. The reason why I posted several options to benefit the OP and others who pop in here.

I would like to see more people posting images of their setup for a tool-box, carry-all, or like the pallet hook-up and go. This would greatly help others here. (y)

Those are very pricey. The reason why I didn't post it before.
I agree. Lots of these tractor add-ons/gadgets, IMO, have premium price tags.
Good thing for the people selling them that there aren’t a whole lot of fixit/buildit types out here anymore.

Before the tool box added, I had two plastic milk crates joined together.
The Dollar Tree has them in a few sizes.
