Like most of the people here I find your work and skill level amazing. I don't know what is wrong with old grump trying to find fault with your project but commend you for the way you handle his snarky remarks.

excellent work, but im not sure of the logic to engineer something that has been perfected years ago. Wont you have more material costs and labor in it than just buying one?

Where is the fun of just buying something? It's much more fun and rewarding to built it yourself.

Exactly, where's the fun in buying one if I can make a custom made unique machine which will suit all my purposes. I've had many working hours on my previous one (rk - 525) and figurrd out what can be improved and done better so now I'm applying those experiences into this new model.

There is sure a lot of artist in you as you are sure creative.
I for one also prefer creating to purchasing, so much more satisfaction.
However I have nowhere your skills (and probably less 'toys' (tools) to work with).
Keep up the good creating and thanks for including us in your progress.

You saying they're as good as Dunken, I dont know about but anyways, those donuts are mine if that back-hoe is not digging dirt by next year, in other words 4 weeks from now to Jan 1 2021, he better start putting the petal to the metal, theres still lots of things have to be put together plus all the hydraulic hoses.............

Oh i inderstand, ive done the same thing and get bitched at by the wife because i spent all this time and cuda just bought one. 3 arm is pretty wild. No bashin, was just curious more than anything.Where is the fun of just buying something? It's much more fun and rewarding to built it yourself.

It's a legit question though. The amount of stuff I've learned and experience obtained over time by doing projects like a backhoe or loader myself, is just priceless to me and the feeling it gives in the end, it's awesome.
That being said, I can't to see this beast of a backhoe that BF is building. This thing is awesome!

Oddly enough I do often 'dream as I nod off.
More than a few times I've found solutions that way, problem often is to recall them next morning.
A few that I recall is learning to drive, barefoot water skiing, and many DIY projects.
Heck I practiced welding as I nodded off.
LOL, as I get older I have to stop the project dreams as they keep me awake. (and counting sheep does not work)

This is why I have pen and paper next to my desk. If something really good comes to mind I write it down and maybe draw a picture. This not only allows me to see it the next day but I can generally go to sleep with a clear mind.
BF, looking forward to those videos. Amazing skills, a natural I bet.
