looking for ideas, last night my Toro 322D started spraying diesel on the injector side, Kubota 3 cylinder, tried tightening the nut but it was a small crack in the line injector end just at the ferule, looked at ordering they have to be made and looking like 5 plus weeks, my first thought was to braze the area and get me out of a bind,

any other thoughts or ideas, local shops say because its the high pressure line its not able to be made.

sucks but first breakdown for many years, one thing the clamps that should be on the 3 lines are missing, Im guessing its vibration that causes the crack would these clamps avoid the issue

correct, dealer has to order it from Toro, not a stock part has to be made, part number 42-8140 pipe assembly fuel injector #2, tonight I roughed it with emery cloth, cleaned well and brazed the tube to the collar, after installing, bleeding its running but no idea how long it will last, will add a picture in the morning

My 1990 322D has a Mitsubishi K3D engine, I thought all 322Ds had that engine.

Might be able to get fuel lines from some other source.

Usually any fuel pump shop can either make it or has a source that makes them..
Take the line with u..

yes called the few shops in town, they say they only do low pressure this is high pressure to injectors, one would not do it due to the bends anyway one on order be in for next year, here is the temporary fix, used it for a couple hours last night and no leaks though I know its temporary and check it for the crack coming back

never figured it was a Mitsubishi the dealer said Kubota, now I have to take another look, it would explain why the Kubota dealer looked at the line and said he had nothing like that

Xfaxman you are 100% correct its a Mitsubishi K3D engine, learn something new every day, looked at the service manual it came with and written at some tine a dozen years ago is Kubota 3 cylinder, did call around to the local shop and seems same issue with the fuel line, non stock item special order, for now the repair will suffice.

This machine was a junk pile when purchased, the fellow who had it spent a lot of time and money on it and finally traded it for a zero turn, it went thro auction as is and cost a whopping $250.00, loaded it up and put it back together other than a couple hoses and gaskets its been great, had some electrical issue, some times it starts and shuts down after 30 seconds, other times it will not shut down but after turning the key 2 or 3 times it shuts down.

Last year as no brakes work and the wife wanted to try it I installed a couple brake cables, the brakes are not great, my thought is the adjusters in the drums need adjusting or something has seized but it will stop eventually.

anyway all is good, weather is still nice and not had to cut grass much this year

Maybe it is for a 325D.
