The stroke on that cylinder long 16 inch id be scare to bend that if you push it out to far

That cyl has a 1 1/4" rod. I don't think you well bend it, but if you did you would bend more then just the top link.

Do they make a 12v top link that would plug into the ready-made plugs?

coupman35 keep in mined the top hook up should be on the same center line as the lower link. This cyl would almost get you the 34" and also has the 1 1/4" rod.

The problem with that one is the hole is not 3/4" and clearance at the base of the cylinder:

When operating it, make sure the top link never is longer than your bottom lift arms. Otherwise, lifting will drive the tail of you implement into the ground.

Had this happen to my first bush hog when tractor was delivered. Had to change the bottom pins locations on the bush hog.

Sort of.. check this recent thread.

When operating it, make sure the top link never is longer than your bottom lift arms. Otherwise, lifting will drive the tail of you implement into the ground.
There may be times you want that. For example, for me one of the main purposes of getting a hydraulic top link is to be able to angle my box blade forward AND back. Forward lets me use the rippers alone. Level lets me use the front blade on the box without the rippers touching anything but high spots. Angled back lets me 'backdrag' (going forwards..) with the rear blade of the box.

But I understand that what you mean is that if the top link is longer than the bottom arms, it will lean the implement back further and further as you raise the 3pt and with a long implement like a bush hog that would be an issue. But with a power top link it's a problem you fix from the driver's seat in a matter of a few seconds. (y)
