Tooth bar question?

The tooth bar will help a lot. The teeth can rake through the top layer of soil where the roots are and rip them and you don't get piles of dirt. You can't do that with a blade edge. If you push a tree over and then get under the root ball to free it the big teeth on a tooth bar will really help you grab on and rip it up. When you are done the teeth make a nice brush rake too.
I put a tooth bar on a year ago and can not believe the difference it makes in everything.

I have one on my 2370-1 - Its like a hot knife in butter. I can rip up some smaller trees up to about 3 inches or so. Digging? Like a VietKong tunnel rat! Take the place where the teeth come to a V and notch that against the tree, up and back on the FEL...tree comes right out. If you dig them up some and its wet you can pull out pine thats bigger. Most awesome add on, I use the underarmour as well.....Makes a small machine a banshee in the woods. Im clearing my lot a little each weekend with it.

I meant tooth placement on the tree. You have to get a tooth under the root ball.

I made my own as a bolt on unit. Used replaceable bucket type teeth. My little BX 25 is now a digging fool. I hate to buy stuff i can make in my steel shop.
