Tooth Bar information needed

I am purchasing a BX 22 shortly and was reading about the tooth bar for the FEL in other posts. I asked the selling dealer about this and he said that he knew of none for the BX series tractors, but could adapt one from the Bobcat brand. Can anyone telll me what brand will fit with the least amount of hassle and expense? Also, are there any suggestions as to what accessories or options to order with the tractor? thanks

I just got my BX22 with a toothbar on it. I believe the dealer said it was a Woods model.

Then select the W.R. Long loader attachments title. I purchased a 48" bar for my BX22 and I am very pleased with it. It is quite beefy and a must have if you plan on doing any digging with the FEL. If my memory serves me right I paid $285. You need to drill (2) 3/4" holes in the side of the bucket to attach the unit. Takes 2 minutes to remove and put back on.

I got my W.R. Long tooth bar from Carver also. Quick/easy to install and remove. Works great!

I just bought a BX 22 from Don Bales Kubota in Lowell, Indiana and ordered one from him. It's made by FFC Attachments in Lee, Illinois. They custom make them for any bucket size. You give them the inside dimensions (inside width) and thickness of cutting edge, and they make them to fit. The teeth are cut to fit over the edge for a stronger tooth bar. You drill 2 holes in the sides of the bucket, and on it goes. It has replacable teeth that are attached by a roll pin. Replacement teeth are available at Farm and Fleet. Cost was $258.00 if I remember right. It was direct shipped to my door. I don't think they sell direct, so you might have to find a dealer to order thru. FFC phone number is 800-747-2132
