I have a 36 yr old Wards Powr Kraft Welder ( AC 225 amp) I bought brand new. I need to remove the sheet metal housing to clean and service it. My original parts list is little help.
Does not even list all the keyed parts and no instructions on disassembly. The cooling fan does not work. It does not appear the designers provided for easy maintenance. Any idea who made the welder for Monkey Wards ?

Welcome to Tractorbynet, Tom, and that was my biggest complaint with Monkey Ward when they were still around. If you ever needed any parts you had to know who made it for them, and even the same item; i.e., boat motors, guns, etc. may have been made by different companies at different times. For something 36 years old, I can only wish you luck. However, at that age, maybe you've already gotten your money's worth.
