Nice plants. I plant a shorter version and usually wait until frost kills the tops. That backfired last year, the first frost came with snow.

I normally wait for frost too, but I had to do it when my wife and the lady that buys them could help, OR I would have had to do it by myself. lol

I didn't get much "seat time" in today, but it was a nice warm day, so I did manage to get my PJ trailer all oiled up,

It sure makes the decks last a lot longer!

Took me sec because that is what I do.... put the can on the seat and siphon until it mostly empty. The put that last gallon or so into the BX.

I wait until the new wood is dry and then when the wood is hot out in the sun, it sucks the oil right in...

I use 50/50 diesel and trans hydraulic oil, I do NOT use used motor oil.

I could tell from the picture that it wasn't used motor oil. Plus from what I've seen, you wouldn't tolerate that kind of mess.

^^^^ I used old motor oil on a skidoo trailer once many moons ago. Lesson learned the hard way. Not so much messy, soaked in good on the old dry plywood, but slippery when wet. Had to screw cleats down onto the deck.

It resides in a clean barn, and I use a leaf blower to dust it off every once in a while. My favorite toy

If you actually do farm work, or just maintain a few acres. There are days when everything doesn't go
just right, something breaks, it's too hot, too cold, ground is to damn hard to work etc etc
This was not seat time today, actually taken awhile ago. But, the view from the seat, it somehow
makes it all worth it to me.
