Didn't realize that tricycle WD came stock with that beautiful chrome exhaust stack?!?

Had a decent day today, a benefit tractor pull just down the road,
My brother took his little WD's down and I ran one of them. He has 2 WD's and my Nephew has a WD and an IH 460 to play with
He pulled in the 3500#, 3 1/2mph, 5 mph and open class, he won in the open and did good in the others, beating his grandson by less then 2 feet in each.
In the 4000# class we both pulled along with his grandson,
In the 3 1/2 mph class all three of use did good a couple ribbons.
in the 5 mph class the tractor I was on did real well, pulled a second place and later we learned the 1st place was DQ'ed for speeding so actually ended up as first,
the others were in the top 5 or so.
Then we got rained out before the 4500# class could pull, I ended up coming home, the others waited it out and finished pull about 5:30 or 6 this evening.
Haven't heard how they fared yet.

It was a hard to find option

It's kind of funny for us in several aspects, For me and my brothers a WD was the first tractor we would drive. With the hand clutch to stop we didn't have to reach the clutch pedal or brakes at the same time. I kid him about it his WD45's are older then he is and younger then me, his WD is my age. As new they were at 30-40 HP on the drawbar those have just a tad bit more, his hotter one has almost a half inch of stroke added to the crank with a bit of clearancing, the others have stoke stroke big bore sleeves and a bit more compression then stock.
But those size tractors are relatively inexpensive to buy and hop up a bit and the parts are almost reasonable.

We FINALLY have everything cut once, and a couple places cut twice, and that's it for rotary cutting, until grows some more. lol

1.5 hours tilling the buckwheat field before the second seeding of the summer.

Just a few minutes today cleaning up the residue from my burn pile in the yard this year;

Used the Branson bucket as back stop and the little Kioti to haul away till just a bit in the big bucket.

All done.

I picked up a Creek Bank 3 ton dump trailer yesterday and gave it a try this afternoon hauling four loads of soil. The tractor hydraulics had no trouble lifting the bed at idle and the trailer seems to be well balanced while pulling and dumping a load.

After I was done hauling I used the rear blade to give it a rough grade.

No pictures but I spent the day helping out a good friend and fellow Army Vet (he served in Vietnam) clean up his yard after the severe storms that came through this week. He had several trees come down. I hauled out 4 dump trailer loads of firewood and loaded the rest with of the brush in a 10 yard dumpster. Tractor made quick work of it.

I finally finished my annual bush-hogging, nocking off the last two fields today (the smallest one and the largest). I cut about 20 acres total each year. Today was a great day for it, cool and windy with no skeeters.

I did one field in the rain yesterday when it was calm, warmer and raining. My canopy top stopped the rain but not the skeeters.
