I tore up an old house. Hopefully I can get dump trucks on the job tomorrow to haul it off.

It took more material than I expected but the barn site is finally ready for concrete. I lost count of the loads but it’s somewhere around 450 tons of material.

Finishing up my year end road side mowing this week. It' been a cold week suddenly.

I left home in a snowstorm today, we had a couple of inches on the ground. About an hour before daylight I passed a farmer in his field... mowing the corn stubble with a rotary mower. I understand what he was doing, trying to get it mulched before it was buried in snow. It just looked odd, seeing him out mowing in a snowstorm.

At least he had a cab.

15 tandem truck loads of dirt and 2 loads of gravel. My first calculation was 213 yards but that might be assuming the average depth to be deeper than it is.

Each one has a job and earns it's keep, and I have a few others that have jobs too, like this Deutz that pretty much stays on the splitter,

It's paid for itself over and over and has been trouble free, it just slooowly sips fuel,

All of them are reliable and money makers!
