Replacing a couple broken tines on my Howard Rotavator, getting it ready for a job coming up,

This tiller has over 2,000 acres under its belt and it's still on its original chain, sprockets, bearings, seals ect..

Howards just last and last and last!!

The front pond is low, so I scooped out some dirt today:

Dumped one cubic yard in this low spot from a tree that I had removed:

Spread out and wheel packed it:

Thought I’d extend chains for stabilizers flipped, and transport mode, actually went ok.

Been wanting to pull off BH plate and lube everything, went ok until I put plate back on. Stripped the threads on 1 bolt (of 4). Geez, seems like I’m always fixing something! Wife says “you like to tinker so have at it.”

Graded a section of road today that got chewed up pretty good from a down pour a couple days ago. Didn't help that I had a couple significant wheel depressions left over from mud season leading into and coming down the hill. Roughed it back into shape with the rear blade, then finished it off with the LandPlane, and last packed it with my One-Ton which I was doing when I took the picture.

You didn't get rain this weekend?

It's rained some every day for two weeks. Poured Friday night and rained all day Saturday but today was just cloudy. The road was damper than necessary but not to wet to work this afternoon. Being a hill it drains well.

If you really need that stripped out bolt you can built it up
by welding it and then cut new threads and your back in
