tires cut, but how?

If I am looking at the pictures right it looks more like a straight cut rather than a circular cut that would be made if the rotating tire sideswiped something. Is it possible it was hit by something else passing by? If the tire was rotated so the slice was horizontal and positioned at the top side of tire rotation, would it be at truck bed level?

one of the cuts has widened, not sure if it's due to the temperatures. it doesn't appear to be leaking, but a failure while I'm using the loader would be bad.

looks like a factory seam to me. looks too smooth and even to be a cut of some kind.

Keep the chains on it so you won't be hit with flying rubber when it explodes.

the cuts are in an arc, but doesn't follow the seam. the arcs are closer the the wheel in the middle, and closer to the tread of the tire at the ends

only 160some hours on them.
I did an experiment. I held a marker stationary, and rolled this can lid past it. The pattern is the same as the cuts.
can ice be sharp enough to cut a tire like that? I can't think of anything else I've run close enough too.
